When Will Android 17 Arrive on Xiaomi Phones?

Xiaomi has a pattern of pushing its first beta updates around Google I/O each year. Based on past cycles:

  • The first Android 17 beta could arrive for select Xiaomi devices in Spring 2026.
  • Flagship models like the Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra are expected to get priority.
  • If the Xiaomi 17T Pro isn’t available in time for the beta phase, models like the Xiaomi 15T Pro may take its place in the early rollout.

How to Verify If Your Device Is Eligible

There are tools available—such as the updated MemeOS Enhancer app—that can automatically detect your Xiaomi phone and let you know if it’s likely to receive Android 17. Just install the app and open it to check eligibility.

Expected Timeline for Stable Release

The stable public release of Android 17 from Google is anticipated around June-July 2026, after which Xiaomi will begin rolling it out on its devices. While flagships may receive the update soon after release, rollouts for mid-range and budget models could extend over several months. Xiaomi aims to complete the Android 17 rollout across its eligible lineup before 2027.
